New Jersey Newborn Photos – What to Expect during your session
As a boutique photography studio located in central New Jersey, our newborn sessions are very private. Whether held here in the Castle or in your home, we reserve the day for you. Our sessions take up to 4 hours, but don’t worry, Natalie is a professionally trained newborn photographer who have been photographing newborns (including her own!) for over 5 years. The Je Revele team is trained to comfort, soothe and pose baby carefully so that you can be assured your baby is in great loving hands.
WHAT TO EXPECT
When you book your session, we will go over baby clothing ideas and suggestions during our call, including the items in our in-studio wardrobe. Our Je Revele sessions are relaxing for parents and comfortable for baby. We choreograph each photography session including posing and wardrobe. All sessions are by appointment only. Portrait sessions may last up to 3/4 hours. You will have a choice of in studio and/or on location or in your home for your portrait session. Your images will be presented to you at your in-person Viewing/Ordering Session on a separate day at the Castle.
Newborn Portrait Sessions starting at $350/$450 in-home: Your session includes a pre-consultation, your photo session and post session viewing appointment. You may purchase prints a la carte or as part of a collection, your choice. You will have the option to purchase these portraits or specialty products during your Order Session. Top of the line Fine Art Products: You will be able to view samples of all the products, finishes and sizes at the studio. Each portrait is printed on fine art paper, then presented and raised on an elegant fine art mat.
Choosing Your Portraits: To further add to your experience we offer complimentary snacks & beverages during your ordering session, anything to make you feel relaxed and at ease. During your ordering session you will view all your images in a beautiful slideshow presentation on a large flat screen. It really is a fun experience! After your slideshow we will edit down to your final selection and go over sizes and groupings that will look great together on your walls along with any fine art finishes, and framing. We will place your order and answer any questions you might have at that time. The turn around time for your portraits is up to six weeks from the date of your order session.
Scheduling: We schedule portrait sessions weekdays Monday-Thursday. We limit the amount of session per month to ensure enough time is given to each of our clients so they all receive our custom creative touch and we can maintain the highest standard of quality and experience. Your baby’s comfort, happiness and safety is our number one priority.
What to Wear: Baby’s skin is perfect… we love to photograph them without clothing. However, we welcome you to incorporate a favorite knit outfit or something special to you. When you book your session, we will discuss your wardrobe during our consultation call, with lots of ideas for you to choose from for your session. You may bring your own items or choose from our selection of wraps, props and accessories for your baby’s session.
Hair & Makeup: If you’d like to be part of your baby’s session (and you should!), we can happily add hair and make-up to your portrait experience for in-studio sessions. We have extraordinary in house stylists, Michelle & Jackie. We offer special pricing for your photo session. Just let us know during your booking, and we will make all the arrangements.
