Having children is one of the greatest gifts parents experience. It was not an easy road or an easy pregnancy for Stefanie and her husband Michael. When baby Michael was born, I was literally on the edge of my seat with excitement to meet this little angel. Throughout Stefanie’s pregnancy, her brother Rich talked about how excited she was to have her first baby. When she finally brought him home, I came right over.
Many of my “moms” are hesitant to bring their baby out of their home during the first few weeks of life. I always recommend in-home portrait sessions since its convenient. Moms LOVE this option. I come with camera in toe, crocheted props all handmade and freshly washed of course. I love taking pictures of babies in the buff. There’s nothing like seeing those chubby thighs at this young age and that little tushie! Ow, I love it!
Here are a few of my favorites from our session.
This year I rebranded and relaunched my business with an exclusive fine art style. Rather than take snap shots, I make portraits that are often edited in a painterly style. They’re extraordinary and very unique. All my portraits are printed on fine art paper are of the finest quality and boy do my moms love it!

Why is the saying “Home is Where the Heart is” so meaningful? Do you remember the day you closed on your first home? How exhilarating it felt to hold the keys to your house in your hand? How did you feel on moving day looking at your spouse and thinking that this ENTIRE house was yours. Now who’s going to clean it?
When you see the photo below, you think back to your very first home that you bought where you first baby was born. It holds so many precious memories, first steps and first birthdays. Its filled with firsts, and tugs at your heart strings as you think back to all the happy moments, babies first Christmas, first day of school. We’re often so excited to move into a new home, but when we see our photo of our first home, it holds a very special place in our heart. When we think back to our first home, we remember moments at dinner, grandmas cookies or moms lasagna. There’s something so rare, so irreplaceable about the fond memories that we love to reminisce about.
Lately, I’ve fallen in love with photographing my clients homes. It’s special seeing their baby boy sitting on the lawn and puts life in perspective. Its a moment frozen in time when he was only that small for that split second. They grow too fast…
“We believe in friendships, and family… forging bonds and reminiscing about the good ole days. We believe in supporting each other and always extending a hand. We believe in laughing until we cry and crying until we laugh.
Wherever you’re going, we’ll be there. And maybe we’ll make a picture.”Natalie Licini Owner/Photographer Natalie Licini Photography Staten Island Wedding Photographer, New York Wedding Photographer, New Jersey Wedding Photographer

You can’t possibly imagine how much you’ll love your baby until you meet her! Sam and Joe brought little Taylor home and were in love from the moment they saw her. I must admit, I too fell in love with their little girl. During our session Joe joked when Taylor smiled at me, he said “meet your mamma” since Taylor had dark hair just like mine. I know that sounds weird, but I’ve been friends with Sam for decades so this was no ordinary shoot. I absolutely loved spending every minute with this little girl. She slept through most of the afternoon and slept all night for mommy. Talk about an angel! Well here’s a real life angel. She is truly related to her big brother Evan who is just as angelic. For those of you who don’t know him, just check out my website! New for 2011, I include an incredible video for my friends, family and clients that often leaves them teary eyed. See below…

Spending an afternoon with this beauty was just was this local Staten Island Newborn Photographer enjoys most!
I had a wonderful afternoon yesterday with Allison and Chris photographing their son little Christopher. This is their first child and they make parenthood look so easy. Just watching them together was such a joy, it made it easy to capture a few special moments with baby Christopher. I love to meet daddy’s who are so hands on with their newborns. Here are a few of my favorite images from yesterdays shoot. Thank you both for allowing me to photograph your angel.
